2011 LCSD Employee Picnic
Lamar County Schools held their fourth annual Employee picnic on Thursday, September 16th, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Sumrall Elementary School. This year the event, normally held at the beginning of the new school year, was moved to a later date to take advantage of cooler weather. The event was open to all employees and families of the district. A special guest this year was country singer, Travis Clark. The picnic was made possible by generous donations from Corner Market, Coca-Cola, Crumbley Paper Products, Landry and Lewis Architects, SouthGroup, and Dr. Joseph F. Washburn.
